PRIVACY
You are handing us
your friends'
email addresses.
So here is the whole policy in one line: we collect first names and email addresses, we use them to send one dinner invitation and run one night, and we don't use them for anything else. Everything below is detail.
THE SHORT VERSION
First names
Yours and your guests'
Email addresses
To deliver the dossiers
Your case text
What you asked us to write
Nothing else
No address, no phone, no payment card
What we never ask for
We do not ask where you live. The app has no field for a venue address, because your guests already know where dinner is — you told them. We do not ask guests for phone numbers, dates of birth or photographs. Guests never create an account or set a password — they get a private link by email instead. Hosts do have an account, to keep your games together, but nothing beyond an email and a password you choose.
How long we keep it
We're building toward automatic deletion of guest data after the night; today, deletion is manual. Ask us to remove a game and its guest list at any time and we will, by hand, usually within a couple of days. Your own host account email stays until you ask us to remove it.
Who else sees it
Three processors, each doing one job: an email provider to deliver the invitations, a hosting provider to run the site, and a language model provider to write the case. Your case text is sent to the model provider to generate the story and is not used to train their models. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we have no interest in your guest list beyond one dinner.
Your rights
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — including on behalf of a guest who would rather not be on our list. One email is enough; we do not require a form.
